Role Description This is a contract Music Lessons Teacher role at Sounds of Carolina located in Greenville, SC. As a Music Lessons Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching group classes and private lessons to students of various ages and levels. You will be expected to create tailored lesson plans that are engaging, educational, and accurately reflect the student’s skill level. Additionally, you will be required to actively participate in the departmental and organizational meetings, and maintain a professional and positive learning environment. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related discipline is required; Master’s degree is preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in either group or private settings. • Knowledge of diverse music genres, historical periods, and music theory. • Outstanding musical skills in at least one instrument or voice. • Effective oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. • Excellent interpersonal skills.
