Music Director Duties: - Lead and direct musical performances, rehearsals, and productions - Select and arrange music for various ensembles and performances - Conduct auditions and make casting decisions for soloists and musicians - Provide guidance and mentorship to musicians, helping them develop their skills and musicality - Collaborate with other artistic staff, such as choreographers or stage directors, to create cohesive productions - Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth technical execution of musical elements - Attend outdoor events, meetings and rehearsals to discuss artistic vision and production logistics Skills: - Strong musical knowledge and proficiency in one or more instruments - Excellent conducting skills and ability to lead an ensemble - Knowledge of a wide range of musical genres and styles - Ability to arrange music for different instrumentations or vocal groups - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with musicians, production teams, and other staff members - Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively We are seeking a talented Music Director who is passionate about music and has the ability to inspire and lead others.
