Job Description

Position Summary NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director, Student Engagement in the Undergraduate College. The Assistant Director, Student Engagement will work on a dynamic team to enhance existing Office of Student Engagement (OSE) programming in the areas of professional development, leadership, and student life. Oversee student organizations, and other student engagement initiatives. Support student organizations and leaders, assist with developing new professional development/leadership development programs, and establish distinctive co-curricular professional/leadership programs. Implement new and customized student life community building initiatives and school-wide traditions, with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Qualifications The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree or MBA is preferred) and 3+ years relevant experience, including student engagement, leadership development, advising, or career development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, strategic, management, and systems skills are required. Proven ability to plan and implement programs with quantifiable results is also required. Related experience at a large, highly decentralized urban university is preferred. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $62,181.82 to USD $76,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
