Color guard Director Ardrey Kell High School Band Ardrey Kell High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Color guard Director to lead our comprehensive program. This qualified candidate will oversee all aspects of the Color guard program, including the fall marching band season and the full winter guard program. Responsibilities include managing and instructing both varsity and junior varsity winter guard teams, with the potential to reinstate a cadet guard. The Color guard Director will be expected to coordinate routines, coordinate performances, hire and organize staff, organize rehearsals, and ensure the development of each student’s skills and discipline. Collaboration with the band director, band boosters, other staff members is essential. • Qualifications: • – Prior experience in directing or instructing a high school color guard program. – Strong choreography and teaching skills. – Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents. – Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. – Strong culture building skills – Strong recruitment skills Compensation: Pay is commensurate with experience.
